Meet Your New Massage Therapist
My journey into massage therapy started with my own struggles—living with chronic pain since my teen years and battling depression even longer. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to feel disconnected from your body, trapped in pain, or burdened by stress.
That’s why I created Winterlight Wellness. I wanted to build a space where people like me—people who have been through the tough stuff—could find real relief and healing. My approach to massage is deeply rooted in science. I combine an expert understanding of the human musculoskeletal system with a calming, therapeutic touch to help clients recover from injury, manage chronic pain, and improve their overall wellness.
At Winterlight, you’re not just getting a massage—you’re getting personalized care from someone who gets it. My goal is to help you rediscover comfort, strength, and hope in your body, no matter what you’re going through. Because even in the darkest winters, there is always light. Let’s find it together.

Consistency is key when it comes to maintaining your wellness. For general relaxation or stress relief, once a month can be just right. If you're addressing muscle tension or recovery, more frequent sessions, like every two weeks, can help you see faster results. And if you're dealing with some tough mental stuff, weekly might be the most helpful.
We’ll work with you to create a schedule that fits your goals and lifestyle, ensuring every visit is a step toward balance and renewal.
-
When you come in for your massage, we’ll take a few moments to chat about how you’re feeling and what areas you’d like to focus on. You’ll be able to undress to your comfort level and relax under a warm blanket. Your massage will be customized with the perfect pressure and techniques to help you feel at ease. Our goal is to create a serene environment where you can fully relax, recharge, and release any tension.
-
Massage is a wonderful tool for relieving discomfort from tight muscles, overuse, or even past injuries. While every body is different, regular massage therapy can reduce pain, improve mobility, and support your body’s natural healing processes. We’ll take the time to understand your needs and ensure we’re targeting the right areas to help you move more freely and comfortably.
-
The duration of your session depends on what you’re looking to achieve.
A 60-minute massage is perfect for a full-body experience, providing a complete reset for your muscles and mind.
If you’d like to focus on deeper work or specific areas of tension, a 90-minute session offers more time to address those needs.
If you've got the time, a 120-minute massage can provide targeted relief while also providing more mental relaxation than you can get in a 90-minute session.
Whatever length you choose, you’ll leave feeling restored and refreshed.
-
I made up a compound word! The intended symbolism here is that our lives go through seasons and living with chronic pain, mental illness, chronic illness, etc can feel like you’re trapped in a perpetual winter. The light is the hope that things can get better and the little things that ease the pain. Like massage therapy. I want to be a source of light in your life that provides a place of relief and comfort.
